He Dared to Call Her ‘Silly’
“You’re a silly girl,” he said smoothly. His prematurely salt-and-peppered hair stuck out in tousled spikes. He bared his teeth in a grin as his eyes glinted like chipped aquamarine.
“Yes, but I am smart and many think I’m pretty,” she chirped.
“It’s because of that damn flower in your hair.”
She smiled and vanished in a puff of glittering, hot pink smoke.
